  1. All passengers (included Taiwanese) travelling to/from Mainland China are required to present the COVID-19 tested negative certification within 3 days (72 hours) prior to departure.
  2. Starting from December 1, 2020, until February 28, 2021 (local time at the place of departure),all travelers (Taiwanese nationals or foreign nationals) coming to Taiwan and transit passengers are required to provide a certificate of a negative COVID-19 RT-PCR test result issued within three days (flight schedule time) prior to boarding the flight to Taiwan. Passenger shall provided relevant documents (ex passport) to prove PCR test report belong to the traveler.
    Please note the following certificate requirements:
    • Passenger name (identical to passport name)
    • Date of birth (or passport number)
    • Date of the specimen was taken for test
    • Test methods: PCR, real-time PCR, RT-PCR, RT-qPCR(Quantitative Reverse Transcription PCR), NAA (nucleic acid amplification), NAAT (nucleic acid amplification test), NAT (nucleic acid test), LAMP(Loop/Mediated isothermal Amplification)COVID-19 RNA test, SARS-CoV-2 RNA or molecular diagnostics indicating a negative or undetectable test result.
    • Date of test report issued
    • In English or Chinese or other local languages (if it can be verified by local airport team at point of check-in)
    • Electronic or physical copy are acceptable
  3. Since December 23, 2020 (00:00 TPE time GMT+8),travelers arriving in Taiwan from the United Kingdom and those who have traveled to the United Kingdom(included transer/transit in UK) in the past 14 days are required to proceed to group quarantine facilities to undergo quarantine for 14 days after entry. Before they complete the quarantine period, they will be tested for COVID-19. and they are allowed to enter the community after obtaining a negative test result and conducting the 7-day self-health management.
  4. Starting from January 01, 2021 (local time at the place of departure),not allowed transit/transfer passengers to Taiwan.
  5. Taiwan will closes border towards all foreign nationals starting from 01 January 2021 (local time at the place of departure). (Please refer to CDC website)
  6. Since January 14, 2020 (00:00 TPE time GMT+8),travelers arriving in Taiwan from the Republic of South Africa or the Kingdom of Eswatini and those who have traveled to the Republic of South Africa or the Kingdom of Eswatini(included transer/transit) in the past 14 days are required to proceed to group quarantine facilities to undergo quarantine for 14 days after entry. Before they complete the quarantine period, they will be tested for COVID-19. and they are allowed to enter the community after obtaining a negative test result and conducting the 7-day self-health management.
  7. Starting from January 15, 2021(local time at the place of departure), travelers (Taiwanese nationals) coming to Taiwan are required to proceed to group quarantine facilities to undergo quarantine or staying in designated quarantine hotel;those who choose to undergo quarantine at home shall make an affidavit to declare they have met the requirement of one person per residence.
  8. Since January 24, 2021(TPE time GMT+8), all travelers who do not arrange the quarantine places of entering Taiwan will be rejected for boarding.
